July Pet of the Month
Bonser Windsperger

We are proud to announce Bonser Windsperger as our Pet of the Month. Bonser’s full name is Bonser Blanco Ragsperger. Bonser is named for Boof Bonser (former Twin’s pitcher), Blanco (another former Twin’s player), and Ragsperger, which is a play on the name of his breed (Ragdoll) and his family’s last name. Bonser often wanders into the bedroom and meows if he thinks you should get up. He also drags his toys in during the night, so you have to step on them when you get out of bed in the morning. One of his favorite toys is a mouse, which looks like him. When Bonser wants attention, he lies down in the middle of the floor on his back and stares at you until you notice him. Bonser’s proud owners are Mischelle and Lee Windsperger.
June Pet of the Month
Sneakers Boyd

We are proud to announce Sneakers Boyd as our June Pet of the Month. Sneakers, also called Sneaky Pete, is 4 year old cat who was adopted from the Southwest Animal Rescue. You can often find him drinking water out of the fish bowl or playing with any string he can get his paws on. He sleeps in his cozy cat bed or on top of the bunk bed. Sneakers travels throughout the neighborhood saying “hello” to all his friends. When he comes into the house early in the morning he goes to anyone still sleeping and meows “Good morning, time to wake up!” His proud owners are the Boyd family of Victoria.
May Pet of the Month
Oliver Shaper

We are proud to present Oliver Schaper as our May Pet of the Month. He is a 3 year old Golden Doodle who is very social and always wants to be around people. He catches chipmunks and raccoons in the front yard then uses them as trophies. He loves running around his 40 acre farm and tearing up the newspaper. He loves to be pet by everyone and even smiles. His proud owners are Phyllis and Lowell Schaper of Minnetrista.
April Pet of the Month
Tonka Jensen

We would like to present Tonka Jensen as our April Pet of the Month. Tonka, who also goes by Tonka-kitty, Tonka Toy, or Tonkers, is an 11 year old cat. You can often find Tonka sleeping in any open clothing drawer. If she hears a drawer open, she runs, hops in, (or will meow until she’s put into the drawer). She loves to jump up on the bathroom sink when anyone is brushing their teeth. As soon as she smells the toothpaste, she runs and grabs her cigar-shaped toy, which is her favorite, and starts licking it. Tonka walks across the piano keys while her owner is on the phone and walks on the keyboard when on the computer. Her proud owner is Deb Jensen of St. Bonifacius.
March Pet of the Month
Noah Carver-Scott Humane Society

We are proud to present Noah, from the Carver-Scott Humane Society, as our March pet of the month. He is 3 years old. Noah is a loving and affectionate boy who loves to touch his nose to yours and rub your cheeks. You can find him sleeping on the sofa, on top of his kitty condo, and even on your lap (which he loves). Noah lets you know when his dish is empty by meowing to get your attention. He’s on a special diet, but that doesn’t stop him from trying to steal food from his feline housemates. If you would be interested in adopting Noah, please contact the Carver-Scott Humane Society at 952-368-PAWS.
February Pet of the Month
Natasha Martin

We are proud to present Natasha Martin as our February Pet of the Month. Natasha, otherwise called Tasha, loves to play with her red zap ball and demands a tummy rub when people approach her. She also takes frequent trips to Chicago to visit her family. When she desires attention from her owners, she will sit on their feet so they can’t get up and walk away from her. Her proud owners are Lee and Connie Martin of Minnetrista.
January Pet of the Month
Dakota Weinzierl

We are proud to announce Dakota Weinzierl as our January pet of the month. Dakota is a 5 year old Labrador retriever, whose nickname is DA. After walks, Dakota likes to cool off in her kiddie pool. Dakota sleeps on her mom’s bed and also loves to play with rocks. If Dakota doesn’t want to walk in a certain direction, she will stop, sit down, and wait until you ask her which way she wants to go. To get attention, Dakota will get in your face and give you kisses or take all of her toys out of her basket and bring them to you one at a time. Her proud owner is Jane Weinzierl of St. Bonifacius.
