Shelly K.Lead Certified Veterinary Technician
Shelly grew up loving animals. She graduated from the Veterinary Technology program at Minnesota School of Business in 2011, then joined our team in 2012.
Shelly lives in Mound with her husband Kevin, sons Desmond and Jacob, and their cat Reeses and two Maine Coones named Minnie & Tynie.
Shelly has been a huge asset to our team over the years and is gradually taking on more responsibility and using her background in management to take on the role of Lead CVT in our clinic. She's been a wonderful team-leader giving everyone the support, guidance and encouragement they need to be successful at SBPH. We're so happy to have her on our team!
Paige L.Certified Veterinary Technician
Paige graduated from Minnesota School of Business and became a CVT in 2005. She joined the staff at St. Boni Pet Hospital in 2004 as a weekend kennel helper and then as a CVT after graduation.
Currently, she lives in Lester Prairie with her husband, Matt, their son Walter and cats Howard and Franklin. Paige enjoys spending time with family, spending the summer & fall at her parents' apple orchard and bowling with her dad in the winter.
We're extremely thankful to have had Paige's superior skills and knowledge on our team for so long; she's shown so much passion for our patients and clients over the years as she knows most by name! You're one of the best, Paige!
Kelly R.Certified Veterinary Technician
Kelly came to us summer 2019 while also working at Blue Pearl (emergency and specialty clinic). She has an extensive history as a CVT for over 10 years; she has worked in emergency, equine, university medicine, specialty practices, and most recently ICU and general practice.
Kelly lives in Silver Lake with her three black and white pups: Oreo, Dori, and Pongo.
Kelly brings advanced skills and knowledge to our team, but we really enjoy her positive energy, bubbly personality, and passion for veterinary medicine. We're extremely lucky to have her on our team!
Kyana L.Certified Veterinary Technician
Kyana has been a wonderful breath of fresh air since she started with us in February 2019. She graduated from tech school at Ridgewater College in 2017 and worked in a resort-town for a while before moving back to the area to be closer to home and family.
She currently has two dogs: a Husky named Covey, and her lovely Golden Retriever, Harper. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and new nephew.
Kyana is a very quick learner and extremely compassionate towards all of the animals. We are thrilled to watch her learn and grow here at SBPH.
Steph S.Certified Veterinary Technician
Steph graduated from Waconia High School in 2003. She got her degree from Ridgewater College in Willmar for Veterinary Technology in 2005 and she did her internship with us in 2005. She worked at a boarding facility for 6 years before returning to SBPH. We've been extremely fortunate to have Steph's passion, hard work, knowledge and caring heart now for over TEN YEARS!
Steph lives in New Germany with her husband, Jason, and daughter, Mya. They have two cats, Maui and Lena, an English Bulldog, Millie, and the newest addition Bruno the boxer.
Thanks, Steph, for everything you have done for us and the love and dedication you have shown our patients and clients over the years. We're grateful to have you on our team!
Cassie B.Veterinary Assistant
Cassie joined our team as a Veterinary Assistant in May 2018. Cassie grew up around animals which has driven her interest to further her education and pursue a life-long career in animal health.
Cassie has an AA degree from NHCC; she started the pursuit of her degree in Veterinary Technology at UW-River Falls and has since transferred to Ridgewater College to complete her degree.
In her free time, Cassie likes to spend time with her rabbit, Kisses. She also enjoys training her horses, exercising and going on adventures!
Cassie has shown so much passion for learning and getting to know the patients at SBPH, we're so excited to watch her grow in her position with us!
Skyler W.Veterinary Assistant
Skyler joined us as a veterinary assistant in January 2020. She attended NDSU for two years and has plans to become a veterinary technician in the near future. She lives in Norwood Young America with her 2-year-old lab mix, Franklyn, whom she rescued from the Golden Valley Humane Society in March 2018.
Sky is a perfect addition to the clinic as she is always willing to lend a helping hand or learn new things, and is a positive and compassionate friend to all the patients that come into our clinic.
She has many interests outside of working at the clinic full-time that include horses, snowmobiling, and doing arts & crafts (like sewing her own clothes). We are so happy that she became a part of our team!
