Client Services/Veterinary Receptionists

Our Veterinary Receptionists are a critical part of delivering excellent service to our clients. In this position you will work with an outstanding team of technicians and support staff, excellent veterinarians, and committed management in a professionally challenging, supportive and team-oriented environment.

Basic Job Description:

  • All aspects of client service and client communication including phones, email, and text messaging.
  • Answer telephones promptly with appropriate and friendly demeanor
  • Schedule appointments accurately
  • Maintain electronic medical records
  • Some general housekeeping and maintenance of lobby/reception area
  • Invoicing and billing of clients
  • Maintain and update social media
  • Other projects and tasks as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • Previous reception or client service experience
  • Upbeat and positive attitude
  • Enjoys interacting with people
  • Love of animals
  • Typing skill of at least 45wpm
  • Ability to manage and use multiple phone lines
  • Comfortable with windows-based computer programs
  • Strong multi-tasking, prioritizing and organizational skills
  • Ability to lift up to 40lbs [bags of food]
  • Be able to sit, stand and/or walk for prolonged periods of time
  • Flexible schedule for day/evening hours and rotating Saturday shifts
